Is the Ultimate Edition worth it?
That depends on what you value. The Ultimate Edition is cosmetic and convenience content layered over the same story. If you want the game and plan to play through at your own pace, the Standard Edition delivers the full experience. If you like customising characters and collecting vehicles, the Ultimate Edition is a modest $20 step up. Importantly, you are not locked in: Standard owners can upgrade to Ultimate later, so there is no penalty for starting small.
How the upgrade path works
