GTA 6 Story: What We Know About Lucia and Jason's Plot
Every Grand Theft Auto has a hook, but GTA VI might have the most personal one yet. At its core, this is a love story wrapped in a crime spree — Lucia and Jason against the world, or maybe against each other. Here is what we actually know about the GTA 6 story, and what is still anyone's guess.
Two leads, one downward spiral
Lucia walks out of a correctional facility in the very first trailer, and from there Rockstar's intentions are clear: this is a Bonnie-and-Clyde fantasy. Jason is the other half of the equation. The pitch feels simple — two people who can't catch a break decide to stop playing by the rules.
Whether that ends in a sunset or a shootout, Rockstar isn't telling. And honestly, that's half the appeal.
Modern Vice City as a character
The setting does a lot of the heavy lifting. A reimagined Vice City and the wider state of Leonida give the plot its texture: influencers, hustlers, fading glamour and a lot of bad decisions. If GTA V skewered Los Angeles, VI looks aimed squarely at the social-media age.
