Who are Lucia and Jason?

Lucia is the series' first female protagonist in a mainline GTA, introduced in the very first trailer leaving a correctional facility. Jason is her partner in crime and in life. Together they are chasing a way out — and a big score — in modern-day Vice City.

A Bonnie-and-Clyde story

Rockstar has framed the relationship between Lucia and Jason as a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style ride through the state of Leonida. Expect a story about loyalty, risk, and the lengths two people will go to for each other.

Dual protagonists

Switching between two leads changes how missions and the open world play out. While we are still learning exactly how the mechanic works, the dual-protagonist setup promises fresh perspectives and replayability the series has never had before.
